// Wat Opot Portraits
On my second return to Cambodia and the AIDS community ‘Wat Opot’, I decided to take a collection of beautiful portraits that challenged the normal pictures that the west usually sees and thinks when you mention AIDS. Wat Opot is a community run by Partners In Compassion Cambodia which offers hope for kids and families directly and indirectly affected by the disease. My hope is for people seeing these photo’s is to realise that you can’t judge people because of a medical condition, especially when most had no say it in at all.
I am currently seeking exposure in magazines, journals and galleries to exhibit this work for the benifit of Partners In Compassion. If you would like to help or are in connection with any one who can please send me an email which you can find on my about page.

Lovely, lovely, the little kittens. It’s interesting to see that there are many faces that I do not recognize, although I first came to Wat Opot in January of 2008 and returned in September; things change so fast here! Thank you for the moments of truth.
